Flexjet says having a jet card means making more of a three-day holiday weekend.
Delays at airports, connecting flights, and international immigration and customs make it time-consuming to travel internationally for holiday weekends such as Memorial Day. However, Flexjet says access to a private jet takes down those barriers.
Speaking to Private Jet Card Comparisons, Flexjet Vice President of Owner Experience Megan Wolf cited fractional owners and jet card members traveling to Los Cabos, Cancun, gateway to the luxury resorts of Riviera Maya, The Bahamas and Bermuda.
While domestic destinations such as Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Nantucket and the Hamptons are also popular, Wolf noted the time saved with the private aviation airport experience make flying privately even more valuable on a busy weekend.
Flexjet also monitors disruptions at airports. For example, delays are expected at San Francisco International Airport this weekend due to runway work. Wolf says many times the delays don’t take place as work can be delayed, so Flexjet monitors these situations ongoing. If the disruptions are significant, it will reroute flights to nearby airports to minimize or eliminate delays.
