Delaware-based Dumont Aviation Group has announced the expansion of its operations to the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF).
The airport is a favorite for private jet users bound for Miami, Miami Beach as well as the Aventura and North Miami areas. It also offers convenient access to Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Dolphins and host of this year’s Super Bowl.
Dumont will be opening its new offices at OPF effective February 1, 2020.
“With our maintenance team already serving our aircraft throughout Florida, and to better serve our expanding charter operations in the area, Miami was a natural location for a new base of operations,” says Joe Martin, Dumont’s chief business officer.
He adds, “We’re excited to be in Miami – it allows us to better serve our existing clients and it provides opportunities for growth in all lines of our business.”
Dumont specializes in aircraft charter, including jet cards, management, sales, maintenance, paint, interior and parts sales from FAA Part 135 and Part 145 operations in Allentown, Pennsylvania; New Castle, Delaware; Bloomington, Illinois; and Fort Worth, Texas, and from sales offices in New Castle, Orlando and Nashville.
Dumont Jets is its aircraft sales, management, and charter division serving clients throughout the country.
Dumont MRO is its maintenance repair and overhaul division its four main bases of operations. Dumont Parts is its aircraft parts division.
Its Santos Jet Card starts at 25 hours and includes large, super-midsize, midsize, and light jet options.
It recently completed a purchase Dassault Falcon 2000s. They previously had flown for NetJets. After upgrades and refurbishments now offer the large cabin jets as a core of its jet card program.
It’s 25-hour card on the Falcon 2000s is priced at $9,000 per hour, including FET.
