Air Charter Service opened a new sales office in Chicago on March 1.
“Chicago has been on our radar as a natural location for another U.S. office for a number of years. The city is the third-largest in population in the country and has one of the highest GDPs in the world – generating $689 billion last year,” said Richard Thompson, president for the Americas.
He added, “O’Hare Airport is the sixth busiest in the world and the city is home to many Fortune 500 companies, some of whom are household names. We believe that there is a large market for both our passenger and cargo aircraft charter services here.”
The Windy City office will be led by Caitlin Uhlmann. She brings nine years’ experience with the company. She previously worked in its New York, London, and Los Angeles venues.
Thompson said, “Caitlin has been instrumental in setting up our last few U.S. offices, and I am extremely confident that she is the right person for the job.”
Privately held Air Charter Services reports annual revenues of around $700 million. Last year, the company said it arranged more than 23,000 flights.
