JSX (formerly JetSuiteX), which markets its by-the-seat scheduled flights between private terminals as “hop-on jet service,” adds two more routes.
Flights between private terminals linking Oakland and Las Vegas to Reno-Tahoe begin Friday, May 21. By flying between private terminals, passengers can show up as little as 20 minutes before departure. That cuts door-to-door travel times in half.
JSX uses reconfigured Embraer 135 and 145 regional jets reconfigured with 30 seats, providing extra legroom. It also serves free drinks, including cocktails and snacks.
JSX’s new flights to Reno-Tahoe are in addition to its routes from Orange County John Wayne Airport and Burbank.
The new flights will operate twice daily on both routes Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Fares start at $99 per seat.
“We are pleased to expand our service for Oakland and Las Vegas residents to and from Reno-Tahoe this Spring for safe, simple, and socially distanced getaways as domestic travel takes off,” said JSX CEO Alex Wilcox.
He added, “With the easing of travel restrictions, our distinctive form of flying allows JSX to quickly pivot to serve destinations people want to fly to while eliminating the hassles and headaches associated with congested airports, irksome middle seats, and long TSA lines.”
JSX recently added LAX flights to Las Vegas.
