Qatar Executive, which launched its first jet card offering last year, is expanding its fleet of Gulfstream G650ERs.
The delivery flight from Savannah, Georgia, to Doha, was flown using certified Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
“We are proud to be the first global business aviation operator to receive a delivery flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel. This reiterates our leadership and commitment to collaborate with the industry for supporting the deployment of new technology, drive innovation and encourage the use of SAF at a commercial scale, affordable and certified,” commented Qatar Airways Group CEO His Excellency Akbar Al Baker.
It’s the eighth G650ER to join the charter operator’s fleet, which is the largest operator of the type in the world. Four more will be delivered before the end of 2021.
Qatar Executive is the launch customer for the G700 with 10 of the next generation Gulfstreams on the books.
The Diamond Agreement is its version of a jet card. It starts at 50 hours and provides fixed-hourly rates and guaranteed availability worldwide.
