European Citation Mustang operator GlobeAir is upping its green credentials with its new Climate JetCard option.
It is a partnership with Geneva, Switzerland-based Charles Hergott, who will implement the offset plan.
“Charles showed me his idea in September 2021, just as the flight activity was restarting, and I thought it was a great idea,” says Jonathan Berdoz, Vice President of Sales at GlobeAir.
Berdoz adds, “Charles came to (GlobeAir headquarters) Linz in February, we signed an agreement during EBACE in May, and after finalizing our common message and marketing strategy, we are pleased to finally be able to propose this to our preferred customers.”
According to the marketing material we reviewed, the program provides GlobeAir’s standard Platinum, Gold, and Standard jet card levels with a surcharge for the offset program.
For example, the Classic jet card, which requires a 75,000 euros deposit, can be upgraded to a Climate JetCard for an additional 7,500 euros.
At the top end, the Platinum jet card in Climate JetCard format is a 30,000 euros upcharge of 310,000 euros.
GlobeAir offers fixed hourly rates on its fleet of 21 very light jets across Europe and North Africa.
