Global private jet flight activity edged down 1% from last week with 70,221 flights, according to WingX.
However, in France, where the Macron government said it plans to regulate private jet flights, there was no immediate impact.
For the week, there were 1,908 private jet flights, a 3% increase from the previous week.
Still, those numbers were 7% below last year’s levels and 2% below 2021 for the trailing four weeks.
In the charter and fractional segment, there were 1,412 flights, a 7% week-to-week gain but 10% below last year’s levels.
Paris Le Bourget and Nice airports were the two busiest airports for private jet flights in Europe during July, according to WingX.
Looking more broadly, the world’s largest market for private jets – the U.S. – saw a 2% decline to 48,008 flights, flat with 2021’s record levels.
U.S. private jet flights are 2% up for the past month.
Florida, which had been slowing, was up 3% week-to-week and 7% up year-to-year for Week 33.

Fractional and charter flight activity for the week dipped 1% week-to-week with 35,274 flights, 8% below last year’s pace for Week 33, and 5% down for the past month.
Florida and California charter and fractional flights in Florida and California increased 3% week-to-week while the U.S. was down 2% with 24,515 private jet flights.
Looking at the past month, U.S. charter and fractional private jet flight activity is now 6% down from 2021’s record-setting pace.
