Teterboro continues in the top spot as 18 of the 25 busiest U.S. private jet airports saw increases in 2022.
Teterboro Airport in New Jersey held serve as the busiest U.S. airport for private jet flights, according to data from Argus TraqPak.
The airport, just across the Hudson River from New York City, had a 17.6% year-over-year gain.
The 25 busiest private jet airports in the U.S. saw a 5.1% gain in departures during 2022 compared to 2021.
Overall, no airports dropped off the list from 2021 to 2022.
The biggest move was by Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport, which jumped from 13th place to the 9th spot.
Palm Beach International Airport kept its second-place spot, followed by Love Field in Dallas, which remained in third place.
Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York, moved from fifth to fourth switching places with Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
Also moving up was Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport, going from 7th place to 6th. It swapped with Denver’s Centennial Airport.
Scottsdale Airport, which will be busy for the Super Bowl this year, moved from 10th to 8th, followed by Dulles.

Atlanta’s Peachtree DeKalb Airport fell from 9th to 10th busiest private jet airport.
Miami’s Opa Locka Executive Airport drops to 11th place in terms of busiest airports from 8th.
Houston Hobby and Naples Municipal each dropped one place to the 12th and 13th spots, respectively.
The biggest gainers were Teterboro and Dulles, both with 17.6% increases in flight activity.
Nashville International Airport used a 14.8% increase to move up three slots to the 16th spot.
Ft. Lauderdale International (+10.9%) and Boston’s Hanscomb Field (+10.3%) each saw double-digit increases.
On the other hand, Ft. Lauderdale Executive (-3.7%) and Chicago Executive (-3.6%) had the biggest drops.
Florida had the most airports in the top 25 list with five (PBI, OPF, APF, FLL, FXE). Texas had four airports on the list (DAL, HOU, AUS, SAT), while California had three (VNY, SNA, SJC).
