Platinum Jet Club offers FlyExclusive members a 12-month rate lock without peak day surcharges or membership fees limited to 100 members

FlyExclusive, the fifth-largest charter/fractional operator in the U.S., is offering a new Platinum Jet Club, limited to 100 members.

The new version uses the same daily access fee methodology of its Jet Club. It also continues the operator’s focus on offering an on-fleet program with recently refurbished aircraft.

Like the regular Jet Club, the Platinum program favors longer flights and multiple legs on the same day.

However, the new offering eliminates peak and high-demand day surcharges, as well as membership fees.

Currently, Jet Club charges a $1,000 per month membership fee.

High-demand day surcharges range from $4,000 to $6,500, based on aircraft category. For peak days, the surcharges range from $8,000 to $11,500.

FlyExclusive Platinum Jet Club members deposit either $250,000 or $500,000.

The non-peak callout is 96 hours. Like regular Jet Club, they can book at fixed rates up to 24 hours before departure for a surcharge.

The peak callout for the new Platinum level is 10 days, compared to 120 hours for the standard Jet Club.

Another difference with the Platinum Club is the hourly rates, which start at $4,170 for a light jet, are fixed for 12 months.

The Jet Club hourly rates move month-to-month based on the cost of jet fuel the previous month.

At the end of the 12 months, Platinum members can roll unused funds into fractional ownership or what memberships are being offered at that time.

During their 12 months, they can add funds as desired with a minimum addition of $25,000.

Another option

“Jet Club continues to grow in popularity and with a unique membership structure truly crafted with our members flying needs at the core,” said Brad Blettner, Chief Revenue Officer, in the announcement.

He added, “We continue to listen to our members identifying ways to make Jet Club the premier private travel solution. The Platinum Jet Club we are unveiling today follows in our desire to provide even more access, choice, and control based on how they fly.”

In an interesting twist, the new program means for flyers who need to travel on peak and high-demand dates, it would make sense to join both the Platinum and standard Club program, something Blettner says is anticipated.

Blettner says after selling 100 of the Platinum memberships; the company will evaluate whether or not to continue the program.
