2023's Kentucky Derby saw over 900 private jets

The 2023 Kentucky Derby drew over 900 private jets this past weekend, according to Argus TraqPak.

Argus TraqPak reports the Kentucky Derby accounts for 8.5% of the region’s annual private jet flights

They were flying in for the roses in Louisville, Kentucky, over the weekend, for the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby.

The fastest two minutes in sports brought over 900 private jet flights during the weekend, according to Argus TraqPak.

This year’s totals marked a 389% increase compared to the previous week.

Argus also reports activity at Louisville International Airport (KSDF), Bowman Field (KLOU), and Clark Regional (KJVY) for the Derby in 2022 accounted for 8.5% of the annual total.
