2021 start-up HondaJet operator Volato has achieved IS-BAO’s highest level of safety ratings with Stage 3 accreditation.
Volato has achieved Stage 3 status from IS-BAO, according to social media posts from the provider.
Volato CEO Matt Liotta posted on LinkedIn, “I’m delighted to share that Volato has successfully attained IS-BAO Stage 3 Accreditation from IBAC, marking a pinnacle in aviation safety benchmarks. This accolade signifies that our safety programs are not just operational but are fully integrated and mature, reflecting the highest industry standards for safety and excellence.”
He noted, “I must extend a special thank-you to our Director of Safety, Patrick Moran. Under Pat’s guidance, we have a safety culture that sets us apart in the industry. Achieving this level of recognition wouldn’t have been possible without your commitment to making safety our unwavering focus.”
Liotta continued, “Let’s put this into context: We received our first HondaJet just two years ago. The progress we’ve made in such a short time frame is nothing short of extraordinary. Few companies manage to achieve IS-BAO Stage 3, especially in as brief a period as we have.”
Liotta is added a Gulfstream G280 fractional program next year.
