By-the-seat private jet flight provider JSX is moving to a private airport for its San Diego flights.

Effective Oct. 5, it will operate from McClellan-Palomar Airport.

Until then, it continues from San Diego International Airport.

The new facility includes complimentary self-parking as well as rental cars.

According to the announcement, “Serving Carlsbad allows you to avoid the congestion associated with Southern California’s other airports. While still in a prime location to access San Diego, McClellan-Palomar Airport taxi times will be shorter. And being a bit further north, CLD is a better option for customers who are headed to San Diego County.”

CRQ is 35 miles north of SAN.

JSX flies from San Diego to Las Vegas and Taos, New Mexico.

The jet-sharing service recently made a similar move in Miami.

In addition to the convenience of using private terminals, including a 20-minute check-in deadline, JSX recently upgraded its inflight service.
