By-the-seat private jet flight provider JSX is upgrading its on-the-ground experience in Miami, switching to Opa Locka Executive Airport.
Flyers looking for the private jet experience by the seat will find an improved experience from JSX for its flights departing from Miami.
On Sept. 26, its shared jet scheduled flights are moving from MIA (Miami International) to OPF (Opa-Locka).
The new facility is at 13550 NW 47th Avenue, Opa-Locka, FL 33054.
OPF was the 11th-busiest airport for private jet flights in 2022, according to Argus TraqPak data.
The JSX facility is part of the new Embassair FBO at OPF and includes onsite car rental facilities.
Why the change?
According to JSX, “Serving Opa-Locka, Miami’s executive airport, allows you to avoid the congestion associated with South Florida’s other airports. While still in a prime location to access Miami and South Beach, Opa-Locka Airport taxi times will be shorter. And being a bit further north, OPF is a better option for customers who are headed to Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.”
JSX offers nonstop flights from Miami to Dallas Love Field and Westchester Country Airport north of New York City.
