With a 14% week-to-week gain, the Middle East was the only region to see double digit growth in private jet flight activity for Week 43.
Global private jet flight activity (70,346 flights) dropped 3% week-to-week and was 2% below the Week 43 totals in 2022, according to the latest WingX data.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe says, “Twenty-nine days into October 2023, global business jet activity is on par with comparable with the highs of October 2021, up 21% compared to 2019.”
The U.S. accounted for 54,830 segments, 3% down from last week and the same week the previous year.
Europe fell 6% week-to-week with 10,263 flights, 5% under 2022 levels.
The Middle East, with 1,568 flights (up 14% from last week), was the only region we tracked with double-digit increases.

For Charter and Fractional operators, their 36,503 segments were 3% down from the previous week and 1% below Week 43 in 2022.
The U.S. (26,869) dropped 2% week-to-week, even with last year.
Europe (7,642) was 2% under 2022 after falling 8% from last week.
