The Jet Card Report by Private Jet Card Comparisons 2023/2024 Table of Contents

The Jet Card Report by Private Jet Card Comparisons is 300+ pages of insights on jet cards, fractional ownership, on-demand charter, and jet sharing directly from the consumers who buy them.

By Doug Gollan, November 11, 2023

The Jet Card Report 2023/24 from Private Jet Card Comparisons, presented by AB Jets, is the industry’s most comprehensive direct research from consumers who fly privately – asking about their private aviation needs as they are searching for the best solutions – and then what they bought, including which companies they considered how much they spent, and satisfaction levels.

Of those surveyed, 76.1% fly with jet cards and membership, 47.0% charter on demand, 20.0% have fractional shares, 10.2% own their own private aircraft, 9.2% use shared and by-the-seat services, and 2.5% are C-suite at companies that own jets, where they are not the owner.

In total, this exclusive direct-from-consumer research offers a trove of insights and data that are pertinent to marketing, sales, operations, and product development.

The report provides data segmented by various aspects.

View cuts from booking window and flexibility to avoid peak days to aircraft types used, requirements to upgrade or downgrade aircraft types, and openness to working with smaller companies.

It includes dealbreakers, for example, WiFi, and much more.

We’ve added segmentation for Midsize and Large Cabin Jets; 50+ hours per year flyers; Flyers who need 15 hours or less per year; Why flyers want to avoid peak days (sliding departures, longer booking/cancel window, surcharges); Willingness to move departure for a 10% discount; Concerns about provider finances; The role of sustainability programs in selecting a provider; Personal financial outlook, and Lifestyle interests.

Also new is a deeper look at the 15 programs with the most active members among respondents: NetJets, Wheels Up, Sentient Jet, FlyExclusive, XO, Nicholas Air, Flexjet, Jets.com, Jet Linx Aviation, Magellan Jets, Volato, OneFlight International, VistaJet, Fly Alliance, Air Charter Service, and PlaneSense.

The insights provide a unique perspective on how consumers view price/value.

That includes crossover utilization for the five programs with the most respondents – which other programs do their members belong to?

In these times of change, The Jet Card Report 2023/24 by Private Jet Card Comparisons gives you valuable insights into consumer expectations and opportunities for new products or ways to differentiate your offerings.
