Flyers to Palm Beach International Airport could face delays or routing to alternate airports through Dec. 6, 2023.

According to a NOTAM, short for notice to airmen, the airport has initiated a PPR order, short for prior permission required.

The PPR must be obtained at least four hours prior to operation into the FBO of choice.

According to the NOTAM, the order is due to parking constraints and ramp congestion.

The closest alternate airports are Boca Raton, 24 miles to the south; Fort Lauderdale Executive, 38 miles south; and Stuart’s Witham Filed, 41 miles north.

PBI was the second-busiest airport for private jets in 2022.
