A big rebound in Texas helped U.S. private jet flight activity in Week 5 increase 5% year-over-year.
February has started on a positive note, with worldwide private jet flight activity (64,225 segments) up 6% from the previous week.
That’s 4% ahead of Week 5 in 2023.
The United States accounted for 44,306 of the flights, a 4% week-to-week gain, 5% up year-over-year.
Texas, which saw an epic 25% year-over-year drop last year, had a 24% gain this time.
European private jet flights (8,080 segments) were down 3% from the previous week but were 3% up from Week 5 last year.
The Middle East (-3 %), Asia (-11 %), and Africa (-19%) were all down year-over-year after a strong start to 2024.

For the week ending Feb. 4, fractional and charter operators (31,379 flights) gained 2% week-to-week and were 3% above last year’s levels.
With 22,763 segments, the U.S. was up 1% from the previous week and 4% year-over-year.

European fractional and charter flights dropped 3% from the previous week and were even with 2023.
With just 55 flights, South America was 67% ahead of the same week in 2023.
