Ventura Air Services has added two aircraft to its managed fleet of charter aircraft.

The Challenger 605 and Citation Excel give it 13 aircraft, including seven large cabin jets.

The Citation Excel is expected to be added to Ventura’s charter certificate by July. The Challenger will be ready by August.

Both are part of its charter-lease program.

The program enables aircraft owners to fly the fleet with guaranteed availability at contracted rights while earning lease revenue to offset ownership expenses.

“Ventura Air Services is dedicated to enhancing the private flying and ownership experience for aircraft owners,” said President Sam Wolf.

The company launched its first jet card in April using the midsize Excel fleet.
