As NetJets expands its world’s largest private jet fleet, it is growing its private lounges for its customers at key airports.
NetJets is planning a widescale expansion of ground support services via more than “a dozen real estate projects underway across top markets in the United States.”
“We are proud to announce our latest investments in support of growing our real estate footprint. By introducing new NetJets Service Hubs in the West, strengthening our partnerships with FBOs, and offering an exclusive facility at Teterboro, we continue to help our owners reach across the country with ease,” President Sales, Marketing and Service Patrick Gallagher said, posting on the website of the world’s largest private jet flight provider.
The plans include a complete renovation and rebranding of its primary FBO at Teterboro, the world’s busiest private jet airport.
“After significant improvements are made in collaboration with Signature Aviation, the space will become accessible only to NetJets owners. To ensure flawless transitions on arrivals and departures, the enhanced, dedicated space will include many of the amenities and features found in other NetJets exclusive-use terminals,” according to the private jet flight provider.
Private ramp and hangar space, a new customer lounge, conference rooms, a refreshment station, and dedicated parking will also be included.
TEB is scheduled to open in 2025.
This summer, an exclusive-use NetJets Service Hub will open at Scottsdale Municipal Airport.
It will be NetJets’ first new-build service hub.
In addition to proactive aircraft maintenance and restocking offered at all its hubs, the new space, operated in partnership with Jet Aviation, will provide conference rooms, a private lobby, an outdoor patio with mountain views, vehicular ramp access, and covered parking exclusively for NetJets customers.
Further growth in the West is in the works.
It includes breaking ground this year on a new Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport space.
It will join NetJets’ recently opened dedicated terminal in Bozeman, Montana.
Other initiatives at Eagle, Colo. (EGE), Atlanta (PDK), Bedford, Mass. (BED), Austin, Texas (AUS), and Dallas (DAL) are currently in the works.
NetJets has options and orders covering the next 15 years for nearly 2,000 private jets.
The deals are via Textron Aviation, Bombardier, and Embraer.
