Research by SkyShare shows high interest in private aviation by business leaders, however, cost remains a major obstacle despite benefits.
Preowned fractional SkyShare says a recent survey of over 1,000 C-suite executives identified that 84% are interested in private aviation.
Interest in private aviation centered around time-saving benefits (77%), increased scheduling flexibility (74%), reduced stress and hassle (69%), and the opportunity to spend more time with family (35%).
Nearly two-thirds (62%) said they would likely consider private aviation for their business travel needs.
However, 75% cited perceived cost as the most significant deterrent, while 41% said there was a lack of information on the services offered.
“This survey was an opportunity to hear from folks who want to be our customers…All business leaders would love to fly private, but there are still a multitude of hurdles to overcome, with cost being the most significant hurdle,” says Cory Bengtzen, CEO and Founder of SkyShare.
The preowned fractional has been expanding its options in recent months, including financing options.
