Volato offers $20,000 in jet card bonus credits

Volato is offering up to $20,000 in jet card credits this month.

The deal applies to its Insider jet card, which is refundable.

Insider offers capped hourly rates on an as-available basis, targeting the flexible flyer.

Last week, the HondaJet operator said it had dropped five leases to cut costs before expected aircraft deliveries.

The Insider jet card deal is:

• Deposit $50,000 and receive a $1,500 flight credit or $2,500 when switching from a competitor
• Deposit $100,000 and receive a $7,000 flight credit or $8,500 when switching from a competitor
• Deposit $200,000 and receive a $15,000 flight credit or $20,000 when switching from a competitor

Volato says pricing is as low as $4,000 per hour, plus tax, on heavily trafficked routes.

The 2021 start-up, which went public last year, continued to see losses in Q2.

It attributed the red ink to IPO costs, scaling up, and delays in receiving the delivery of new aircraft.
