Over the year’s final four weeks, worldwide private jet flights (282,582 segments) surged 7% year over year.
Global private jet flight activity increased week-to-week by 3% in Week 51 before retreating by 17% in Week 52, which ended on Dec. 29, 2024.
Week 51 was up 19% year over year compared to 2023, and despite the sequential drop, Week 52 was 2% higher than 2023.
Over the year’s final four weeks, worldwide private jet flights (282,582 segments) surged 7% year over year.
The U.S. saw a particularly strong end to 2024.
Private jet flights over the four weeks (197,123 segments) were 9% ahead of 2023.
The three biggest markets – Texas (+12%), California (+9%), and Florida (+8%) – each posted solid year-over-year increases.
European flights during those four weeks (32,811 segments) were up 3% year-over-year.
Asia (9,171 segments) and the Middle East (5,761) posted 9% year-over-year gains for the 28 days.
Africa, down 17% with 3,322 flights, countered an upward trend.
