Following a 26% increase in revenues in 2024, Qatar Airways’ Qatar Executive is looking to expand in Europe.
According to Bloomberg, revenues at Qatar Executive surged by 26% last year.
The private jet charter operator is a subsidiary of Qatar Airways Group.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori told the business news website, “We are taking a higher share of the pie, and therefore, we can sell even more flights than what we have in supply.”
He said demand is coming from leisure and business travel.
Top destinations include London, New York, the Seychelles, and the Maldives.
The Qatar executive also said the private jet unit is considering acquiring a European air operator’s certificate.
Currently, Qatar Executive cannot fly commercial flights within the European Union.
In October, Qatar Airways began awarding Avios frequent flyer points for private jet charter bookings.
It operates a worldwide floating fleet, mainly Gulfstream G650ERs and G700s.
