Wheels Up has retained its ARGUS Platinum safety ranking. It also holds Wyvern Wingman and Flight Leader status.
Delta Air Lines-backed Wheels Up has maintained its ARGUS Platinum safety rating.
“An organization that obtains the Platinum Rating shows their dedication to excellence,” according to ARGUS.
The audit group “performs rigorous safety analyses, background checks, and ensures a Safety Management System is in place before awarding this prestigious rating to an operator.”
Platinum level requires an Emergency Response Plan and functioning Safety Management System.
The rating requires an operating certificate for at least one year and at least one turbine aircraft on the certificate.
There is also an in-depth historical safety analysis, pilot background check, and aircraft operational control validation.
Wheels Up also has Wyvern Wingman and Flight Leader status.
Wheels Up announced its best bottom-line performance earlier this week since becoming publicly traded in 2021.
