Two private jet flight providers—Hera Flight and Paramount Business Jets—are bullish on cryptocurrency payments.

Hera Flight will now allow Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other leading cryptocurrencies as payment for its charter flights and jet card memberships.

“We are thrilled to embrace cryptocurrency as a payment option, providing our clients with greater financial flexibility,” said COO/Co-Owner Jonathan Hollar.

The company says the initiative “caters to high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and global travelers who prefer the flexibility and efficiency of blockchain-based transactions.”

At the same time, Paramount Business Jets says it has seen a “notable increase in clients utilizing cryptocurrency as a preferred payment method.”

CEO and Founder Richard Zaher says, “The ability to receive payments instantly and securely, regardless of time or location, is a significant advantage—for both our clients and our operations.”

He adds, The added security and transparency of blockchain technology, along with the potential cost savings compared to traditional methods, make cryptocurrency an increasingly valuable option in the private aviation space.”

The broker says digital currency transactions often incur lower fees than traditional payment methods.

That’s particularly the case for international clients.

Zaher says that “resulting in cost savings” can be passed to clients.

Paramount Business Jets added crypto payments last November.
