Fort Lauderdale-based private jet charter broker Monarch Air Group has launched its first membership program.

The company was founded in 2005.

“It’s a response to customers,” says CEO David Gitman.

“We’ve seen more and more customers who want to keep money on account, but they have specific needs that the typical jet cards don’t address,” he says.

Refundable deposits start at $100,000.

There is a 2% flight credit based on deposit level.

Funds are kept in individual escrow accounts.

Gitman says, “Rates are coming down for efficient flying, so we are seeing more flyers who don’t want to be locked into fixed-rate programs.”

He adds, “Our customers also tend to have specific preferences in terms of specific jet types or configurations, vintage, and so forth, and it can change from trip to trip.”

Gitman says that the traditional category of jet cards doesn’t meet those needs.

The company also includes 100% carbon offsets for all customer flights.

It offsets the flights annually.

In 2022, Monarch Air Group was the first broker to attain the National Business Aviation Association’s sustainable flight department accreditation.

The company also accepts cryptocurrency and reported a 32% increase in customers using that form of payment last year.
