Tampa, Florida-based private jet flight provider FlyUSA continues its growth curve with acquisitions.

It was the fastest-growing private jet flight provider in the Inc. 5000 2024 list of privately held companies.

Today, it announced the acquisition of Pilatus PC-12 operator Tryp Air Charter and its MySky Aviation Solutions.

The deal brings aircraft under management from 24 to 28.

It expands the on-fleet aircraft available for charter from eight to 12.

FlyUSA CEO Barry Shevlin says, “We’ve known the Tryp team since we first started FlyUSA, and they’ve been a great partner to work with. We are all excited about joining forces.”

He continues, “This transaction results in FlyUSA becoming the largest and most active combined turboprop and light jet fleet in the state of Florida, if not the broader Southeast U.S.”

Shevlin adds, “This partnership unlocks new opportunities for growth, but most importantly, delivers even greater value to those we serve. I could not be more excited to have these two organizations join FlyUSA.”

Tryp and MySky Founder and CEO Elliot Mintzer will join the acquirer in managing its turboprop fleet.

Mintzer brings over a decade of PC-12 experience.

Tryp’s VP of Charter/Logistics, Kyle Garren, will join the FlyUSA sales team.

Mintzer says, “Tryp and MySky have always been a leading source of Pilatus PC-12 lift throughout the Southeast and the Bahamas.”

He adds, “The innovative growth opportunities at FlyUSA for our owners and team are something we couldn’t pass up being a part of or be more excited about.”

FlyUSA says it completed a record-breaking Q1 with $15 million in revenue.

The company expects to reach $70 million in revenues for 2025.

Last December, it added its first guaranteed rate jet card.
