Flexjet joins Rolex, Mercedes-Benz, and UBS to back the Laver Cup competition. This year’s event is being held in San Francisco.
The Laver Cup has selected Flexjet as a global supplier partner.
The second-largest private jet operator based on fractional and charter flight hours joins founding partner Rolex and legacy partners Mercedes-Benz and UBS.
New partners included Alipay+, Perplexity, Genesys, Boss, and Daou Vineyards.
The Laver Cup began eight years ago, launched by Roger Federer, Tony Godsick, and Team8.
The event is named in honor of tennis icon Rod Laver.
It is modeled on golf’s Ryder Cup.
The competition pits six of the top European men’s players against six from the rest of the world.
The competition runs for three days.
Chairman Tony Godsick says, “When we launched the Laver Cup, we had the extraordinary benefit of Roger Federer’s global popularity and deeply trusted brand relationships.”
He adds, “Now, nearly a decade later, the Laver Cup has earned its reputation.”
Godsick continues, “The world-class brands renewing and joining us today reflect the trust we’ve built and our continued commitment to delivering a bold, premium, and global platform for sport and entertainment.”
CEO Steve Zacks says, “This is a milestone moment for the Laver Cup.”
He notes, “The stellar roster of new and renewing sponsors reflects the proven strength of the Laver Cup platform for global companies to build brands, host clients, and engage with passionate fans.”
Flexjet Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Florian adds, “As we enter our 30th year, we are looking forward to joining the tennis vertical via the Laver Cup.”
She says, “We find this event and the sport of tennis resonate powerfully with our ultra-high net worth clientele who appreciate the bold and modern approach of this tournament and the sportsmanship that brings these magnificent athletes together.”
The 2025 edition will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco from September 19 to 21.
Tennis legends Yannick Noah and Andre Agassi will be captaining Team Europe and Team World, respectively.
It will be the first time for both of them.
Six of the top 15 in men’s tennis have already confirmed.
They include Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Holger Rune, Tommy Paul, and Ben Shelton.
The 2026 event will return to The O2 in London.
That will mark the first time the event will revisit a host city.
