Air Charter Service private jet bookings for its Geneva office have spiked after expanding its team there counter to the overall Swiss market.
The Geneva office of Air Charter Service reported a 78% increase in private jet flights during the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
Group Commercial Director Justin Lancaster said, “With the Swiss private jet market flat, we decided on a push for market share.”
He added, “To do this, we needed to take our service levels to new heights. We invested in the team and our processes – bringing in experienced personnel, some of whom speak languages that we didn’t have before.”
According to Lancaster, “Our new management team in Geneva has been instrumental in formulating this plan and delivering these results.”
Air Charter Service “almost doubled the team size” at the beginning of the year.
The year-over-year growth marks the best six-month period in the office’s 10-year history.
In 2024, private jet bookings in Geneva were flat in the first half compared to 2023.
Switzerland CEO Arthur Guibert added, “We will be looking to expand the group further over the coming months, in order to build on the success that I am confident will continue going forward.”
WingX data shows private jet departures in Switzerland were down 1.5% year-over-year through June.
