Stratos Jets says it has signed up its 12th charter broker franchisee.

The Orlando-based private jet flight provider launched its franchise program in March 2024.

According to the announcement, there have been 200 inquiries.

Founder and CEO Joel Thomas says, “This is not about selling franchises for Stratos Jets; we are partnering with agency owners who are passionate about elevating the client experience and transforming the opportunity in private aviation.”

He adds, “Our franchise owners come from diverse professional backgrounds, but they are united by a drive to deliver the highest-quality service and the desire to build lasting businesses.”

Its newest franchise group includes a tenured sales agent with the company who launched his brokerage.

Franchisees gain access to Stratos Jets’ flight management system, including tail tracking and real-time pricing for more than 100 charter aircraft.

The company has also expanded SkyGuide AI, its knowledge base for agency owners and their teams, with detailed air carrier historical data and trip information to help customers make informed buying decisions.

COO Darren Engle says:

‘Our franchise model streamlines business operations so owners can focus on growth. We remove the busywork by providing proven systems, advanced technology, and administrative support, allowing franchise owners to prioritize client relationships, provide superior service, and grow their team.’

New franchises complete a comprehensive onboarding.

Stratos FMS is designed to ensure all agencies comply with Stratos Safety Standards.

The company is an ARGUS Certified Broker.

A team of flight coordinators and followers backs franchisees.

There are accounting personnel to manage customer and carrier payments, collections, and remittances.

Stratos Jets Growth

“Our model removes the busywork so owners can focus on growth, client relationships, and delivering exceptional service,” says Thomas.

Earlier this year, Stratos Jet said it was giving away five franchises.

A spokesperson did not immediately respond to whether the dozen franchises include the giveaways.

According to the release, Stratos Jets is “exploring franchise opportunities with adjacent aviation suppliers and international brokers.”
