WingX Managing Director Richard Koe spoke about the industry’s continued success in 2025.
Koe stated:
‘Week 42 was our busiest in the last 12 months with over 81,000 departures, we’re now at 26 consecutive weeks of growth and it seems to just keep going. North America topped 60,000 flights for the week, which is impressive, and Africa’s been on fire with 30%+ growth two weeks in a row. NBAA brought almost 400 extra flights to Vegas on top of the usual traffic, which shows you how much these big industry events still matter.’
As Koe mentioned, the Las Vegas, Nevada, region saw significant growth over the past week, driven by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE).
The three Las Vegas airports —Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), Henderson Executive Airport (HSH), and North Las Vegas Airport (VGT) —recorded a total of 995 private jet departures from October 13th through the 17th.
This was an increase of about 14% compared to the same period during last year’s NBAA-BACE. However, this also represents nearly 400 more flights than a typical Monday through Friday period at these airports.
Globally, private jet departures increased by approximately 3% from the previous week.
The United States led this week-over-week jump, recording a 6% increase. Florida saw the biggest change, recording 13% more flights than last week.
The US also saw a significant jump from the same period last year, accumulating approximately 7% more flights.

The Middle East saw a significant week-over-week decrease of about 11%. However, the region’s private jet flight activity was 7% more than the same period last year.
