U.S. overall and fractional/charter private jet flight activity hit a 52-week high in Week 41. It has been 25 weeks since the last YOY drop.
What goes up stays up, at least in 2025, when it comes to our weekly private jet flight activity analysis.
Week 41 saw a 4% sequential gain.
The 79,114 flights represented a 7% year-over-year increase.
The 55,188 U.S. departures represented both a 6% week-to-week and year-over-year jump.
They also set a 52-week high and extended the industry’s winning streak to 19 weeks without a year-over-year dip.
So far, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
Looking at the U.S., Florida flights (5,967) were up 20% year over year.
That, however, was a reversal of the 18% drop from 2023 to 2024 caused by Hurricane Milton.
European private jet departures (11,118) were 3% ahead of last year.
Both Africa (+48%) and South America (+31%) saw significant year-over-year increases.
