Private jet flight activity has been up 15 weeks, flat for 2 weeks, and down 4 weeks so far in 2026. The current winning streak is 4 weeks.
Over the past week, private jets around the world recorded just over 77,000 total departures.
This was a 2% increase compared to the same week last year.
However, the 77,000 departures recorded over week 21 of 2026 were a slight step back from the previous week, which saw approximately 4% more flights.
So far, in 2026, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
Additionally, over the past four weeks, private jets have recorded 311,731 total departures.
This is a 3% increase compared to the same time frame last year.
Year-to-date, private jets have recorded about 3.7% more departures than in the same period last year.
This was a slight drop from last week’s year-to-date record of 4.0% more flights.
According to WingX, private jets recorded approximately 77,273 flights worldwide.
This was a 2% increase year-over-year.
Nick Koscinski, a WingX analyst, spoke with Private Jet Card Comparisons about the slow week.
Koscinski stated:
‘The aggregate of Mideast bizjet data has shown some recovery since the initial weeks post-conflict, but when you look at the country-level data, the picture is far more mixed. Europe also saw a notable decline last week, although its year-to-date picture is still showing modest growth.’
North America recorded the most flights, with nearly 55,000 departures.
However, the United States was responsible for the majority of these flights, accounting for 52,983.

This represents a 5% year-over-year increase, but also a slight drop of about 7% compared to the prior week.
The year-over-year jump was led by popular markets in the US, including Florida, California, and Texas.
WingX analysts also took a closer look at the most popular city pairs in North America.
Year-to-date, the Los Angeles, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada, route is the most popular in the region, with 5,595 flights.
This is a 8.3% year-over-year jump.
Additionally, Los Angeles, California, to San Francisco, California, remains a popular city pair, recording just under 5,000 total departures.
This represents a significant year-over-year increase of about 17.3%.
Other busy city pairs in North America include Boston-New York, New York-Miami, New York-Washington D.C., and West Palm Beach-New York.
Meanwhile, Europe only saw 12,262 total departures over the past week.
While this was enough to record a 7% week-over-week increase, this was also an 8% year-over-year increase compared to week 21 of 2025.
France led the way, recording a 20% year-over-year drop, while the UK, Italy, and Germany also saw year-over-year declines.
The Middle East continued to struggle with private aviation activity, largely due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
The Middle East recorded only 1,325 flights, a 15% year-over-year decrease. Even so, this was a 13% jump from last week, signaling that the region may be starting to recover.
Additionally, both Africa and South America saw slight year-over-year increases, while Asia saw a slight decline in total private jet flights.
According to WingX, Part 91K and Part 135 operators recorded over 41,000 total departures worldwide. This was a 4% year-over-year increase, although it was 3% fewer flights than last week.
North America led the way, recording 10% more flights over the past week than in week 21 of 2025.

Specifically, the US saw 30,470 total Part 91K and Part 135 flights, representing a 10% year-over-year jump. Double-digit increases largely led this in both Florida and Texas.
Even so, the region saw 6% fewer flights than week 20.
However, in Europe, only 8,155 fractional and charter operations were recorded.
This was a significant drop from week 21 of last year, recording approximately 12% fewer flights.
Several countries saw double-digit decreases, including the UK and France.
Even so, the region is improving compared to recent weeks, seeing 9% more flights than last week. Italy, France, and the UK all saw double-digit week-over-week increases.
Additionally, the Middle East continued to struggle with Part 91K and Part 135 operations, seeing 28% fewer flights than the same week last year.
Even so, the region also saw 24% more flights than last week, which may signal recovery.
Elsewhere in the world, both Africaa nd Asia saw double-digit decreases in fractional and charter operations, while South America saw a slight step up from last year.
