Global private jet activity experienced was up 2% year-over-year in Week 19 and is 3.9% ahead of last year on a year-to-date basis.
In week 19 of 2026, private jets worldwide recorded over 83,000 departures.
This was a 2% increase compared to the same week last year.
Even so, this was a slight step back from last week. Compared to week 18.
The most recent week ending May 10, 2026, recorded about 3% fewer flights.
So far, in 2026, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
According to WingX, global private jets recorded 83,379 total flights over the past week.
So far this year, private jets have recorded approximately 3.9% more flights than the same time period last year.
Over the last four weeks, private jets have recorded just under 310,000 total departures.
That was a 3% year-over-year increase.
Nick Koscinski, a WingX analyst, spoke with Private Jet Card Comparisons about the modest week.
Koscinski stated:
‘Modest growth last week with top fractional providers continuing their strong growth in 2026. We’re now looking towards the World Cup and the extra revenue that operators and FBOs will capture.’
North America contributed approximately 72% of all business jet flights over the past week.
Overall, the region saw 54,895 flights, a 2% increase from last year. However, this was a slight decrease from last week, recording 4% fewer flights.
However, WingX is projecting that this will change with the upcoming World Cup in North America.
WingX is forecasting more than 73,000 match-day-related private jet flights across all 16 host cities.
WingX is also forecasting New York alone to record nearly 28,000 match-day related private jet flights.
Analysts also expect the World Cup to generate $274 million in additional charter and fractional hourly revenue across host cities during the tournament window.
Over the past week, the US saw approximately 53,346 flights, a 3% year-over-year increase.
Major markets in the US saw slight growth, with Florida recording a 4% increase, California recording a 3% increase, and Texas seeing a 5% increase.
However, the US saw a 4% drop from last week, with Florida recording a 10% week-over-week decrease.

Meanwhile, Europe recorded over 11,000 private jet departures over the past week.
This was a 3% year-over-year increase and a 6% week-over-week increase.
Several countries in Europe saw year-over-year increases, led by Italy, which rose 24% from week 19 of last year.
The large week-over-week increase was led by Italy and Germany, which both saw double-digit gains.
The private aviation industry in the Middle East continues to struggle due to the ongoing conflict.
Over the past week, the region only saw 1,044 flights, a 31% decrease from last year. This also represents a 13% week-over-week decrease.
Elsewhere in the world, both Asia and South America saw growth, recording double-digit year-over-year increases.
According to WingX, over the past week, Part 91K and Part 135 operators worldwide recorded 40,598 flights.
This was a 5% year-over-year increase, although it was a slight dip of about 2% from last week.
North America continues to be the dominant sector for fractional and charter flights, seeing over 31,000 total departures.
The US had approximately 30,820 of these flights over the past week.

These flights represent an 8% year-over-year increase, largely led by double-digit year-over-year gains in Florida and Texas.
The US also saw a slight dip compared to last week, recording about 3% fewer flights than week 18.
Europe’s Part 91K and Part 135 operations remained relatively flat, recording about 1% fewer flights compared to the same week last year. However, it also saw about 3% more flights than week 18.
This year-over-year decrease was due to fewer flights in the UK, although other regions, such as Italy, Switzerland, and France, saw year-over-year gains.
Italy also saw a double-digit week-over-week increase, contributing to the region’s weekly gains.
In the Middle East, fractional and charter operations saw approximately 41% fewer flights than last year, recording fewer than 500 departures under Part 91K and Part 135.
Additionally, Asia and South America both saw double-digit gains compared to week 19 of last year.
