During week 43 of 2025, global private jet flight activity saw another increase in departures compared to last year.
This past week, global private jet activity recorded a total of 78,671 flight departures.
Compared to week 43 of 2024, this was an approximate 3% increase in departures.
However, this represents a 3% decrease from last week.
So far, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
During week 43 of 2025, private jet flight activity increased by approximately 3% compared to the same week last year.
Over the last four weeks, from week 40 to week 43, global private jets recorded more than 315,000 total departures.
Compared to the same period last year, this was approximately 5% more departures.
Additionally, the year-to-date number of departures is about 5% more than the same period last year.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe spoke about the continued increase in private jet flight departures in 2025.
Koe stated:
‘We’re still up 5% for the year, which is solid, even if Week 43 shows the market cooling down a bit after that strong run we had in September and October. Europe had a really strong week, with the UK, France, and Italy all growing more than 10%, and South America’s 39% jump is significant.’
Overall, global private jet departures saw a 3% increase from last year. However, North America and the United States only saw a 1% jump year-over-year.
Additionally, the US saw a 6% drop compared to its prominent week 42 last week. This was primarily led by a week-over-week drop in several major markets, including a 6% decrease in Florida, 9% in California, and 3% in Texas.
Even so, these major markets still recorded more private jet departures than the same period last year, except for California, which saw a 7% year-over-year drop.
Europe saw a prominent 5% increase year-over-year this past week. Even so, this was a slight decrease from last week.
Several countries saw a strong week, including France and Switzerland. These countries each saw a 12% and an 8% increase, respectively.
Italy and the UK saw slight drops in private jet flight activity compared to last week. However, both countries saw double-digit increases compared to the same period last year.
The rest of the world saw increases in private jet flights compared to last week, with the Middle East and South America both seeing over 10% more flights.
Additionally, private jet flight activity in Africa remains strong, seeing a 25% jump from the same week last year.
Asia saw only a 3% week-over-week increase, but remained slightly down in terms of departures compared to last year.
