In November 2025, ARGUS TRAQPak reported a significant year-over-year increase compared to the same month in 2024.

According to ARGUS TRAQPak, North American private jet flight activity increased by 8.0%.

This was the largest year-over-year increase on record, excluding the peaks recorded during the initial post-COVID-19 pandemic private jet flight activity boom.

ARGUS TRAQPak experts expect the positive year-over-year trend to continue well through December.

Currently, analysts estimate a 2.5% increase in overall North American flight activity in December.

‘Another Record’

In October, ARGUS tracked the second-highest number of private jet flights ever.

ARGUS Senior Vice President Travis Kuhn spoke with Private Jet Card Comparisons about the private aviation industry’s success over the past several months.

Kuhn stated:

‘Two months after setting a record for the largest, non-Covid, monthly gain, we went out and set a new record in November. If there is a bigger story, it is the continued improvement in the Part 91 market and the positive numbers in the Large cabin Part 135 market. Those have been shaky over the last 2 years so it’s good to finally see the numbers in positive territory.’

Kuhn mentioned the continued success in Part 91 and Part 135 business segments.

The large-cabin jet Part 135 market has struggled to match the success of other private jet categories in recent months, though it posted positive year-over-year growth in November.

Overall, the month of November saw the largest year-over-year increase on record, with a gain of about 8.0%.

The previous record for the largest year-over-year increase was set just two months ago in September.

Before this, the largest year-over-year increase was recorded in January 2015, excluding COVID gains.

Compared to last November, small cabin jets and midsize cabin jets each saw the largest gains, with each private jet class recording year-over-year increases of 10.4%.

The large cabin jet segment also saw significant growth of about 6.3% compared to last November.

The turboprop segment saw the smallest increase, yet still recorded a year-over-year gain of about 3.8%.

However, compared to last month, private jet activity decreased by 5.7%. Part 91 operations decreased by about 9.2%, while Part 135 operations decreased by about 1.9% month-over-month.

The only region in the United States to see significant month-over-month growth was the Southeastern region, which saw a 2.2% jump.

This region includes Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.

Meanwhile, the Northwestern region of the US saw an 18.3% month-over-month decrease. The New England region saw the largest decrease, recording 24.9% fewer flights than in  October.

Fractional Operators

The fractional private jet business segment saw the largest year-over-year jump, recording approximately 12.8% more flights than last November.

Each major aircraft type saw a significant jump in flight activity.

However, the turboprop fractional segment saw the smallest increase, although it still increased by 8.8% compared to last November.

The small cabin jet segment saw the largest increase, recording a 15.9% year-over-year jump.

Additionally, the midsize and large cabin jet segments each saw double-digit increases, with each recording an increase of 11.5% and 14.4%, respectively.

Part 135 Operators

The Part 135 business jet segment also showed significant year-over-year growth, posting a 9.7% increase compared to last November.

However, the smallest increase in this segment was set by large cabin jets, which only increased by 4.2%.

Turboprop flight activity also showed a gain of just 5.2%.

Even so, the year-over-year increase was led by the small and midsize jet segments, with each recording double-digit increases.

The small cabin jet segment recorded an 11.9% increase, while the midsize cabin jet segment recorded the largest increase of about 16.0%.

Part 91 Activity

The part 91 segment saw the smallest year-over-year increase, recording a 4.4% jump.

Like the other segment, the turboprop class saw the smallest increase, recording just 2.3% more flights than last year.

The midsize segment also struggled to grow this past November, recording an increase of 2.6%.

However, the large cabin jet showed continued growth, with 6.0% more flights than in November 2024.

Additionally, the small cabin jet segment saw the largest increase, showing an increase of 7.4% in flights this past month.
