The FlyHouse Safety Seal audit will assess private jet charter operator culture and risk across 45 indicators and six categories.
FlyHouse has launched the FlyHouse Safety Seal.
The 2021 start-up called the announcement “a groundbreaking initiative designed to establish the highest safety rating standards in the industry.”
It claims, “The FlyHouse Safety Seal is awarded through an unprecedented, transparent, and equitable safety evaluation system for pilots and aircraft seeking to be on the FlyHouse platform.”
The company is seeking to provide an instant booking platform enabling consumers to charter private jets online.
It says its initiative will “elevate safety standards across the industry by exceeding traditional third-party audit ratings and implementing a rigorous audit process that evaluates operators and pilots based on objective criteria.”
Its “proprietary” culture and risk assessment measures 45 indicators across six categories to understand how operators assess and manage risk.
Per the company:
‘Unlike the industry’s existing standard audits (its program), which combine quantitative FAA standards with qualitative insights into how operators manage risk, offering travelers a clearer picture of an operator’s commitment to safety and ability to manage their operations and business. The assessment does not use yes or no questions and, instead, is a discussion-based, real-world evaluation based on key areas that range from crew training to flight operations, maintenance practices, safety programs, and even company culture.’
Chief Safety Officer Al Mann adds, “Our goal is to dig deeper than checklists and typical compliance routines.”
He adds, “We believe the introduction of the FlyHouse Safety Seal will set a new benchmark for safety in private aviation, encouraging all operators to elevate their safety practices.”
Baker Aviation has been awarded the first Elite FlyHouse Safety Seal.
That is the highest tier within the company’s safety program.
It follows an in-depth onsite review conducted in October 2025 across leadership practices, flight operations, and safety systems.
Baker Aviation President Tim Livingston says, “Our partners place their clients and their reputations in our hands,” adding, “It is our responsibility to ensure they feel complete confidence in our operation.”
FlyHouse CEO Jack Lambert adds, “Safety is not a department at FlyHouse. It is the foundation of every decision we make.”
Lambert tells Private Jet Card Comparisons there are currently 2,300 bookable aircraft on the FlyHouse platform.
He said that of the approximately 200 operators, about a quarter have already completed the Safety Seal audit.
Lambert said existing operators who don’t meet or complete the audit standards will be removed from the platform.
