Elevating the private jet experience for dogs is driving the first of what is expected to be more Jet Paw Lounges from Fly Alliance.
Fly Alliance will open what it is calling “the world’s first private aviation terminal designed entirely for dogs.”
The lounge will be located at Teterboro Airport.
The northern New Jersey airport is the busiest airport for private jets in the world.
The Jet Paw Lounge “has been designed to support and elevate the growing ecosystem of pet-focused private aviation.”
“President and Co-founder Christopher Tasca says, “Jet Paw Lounge is a natural evolution of what private aviation should be.”
He adds, “Our clients don’t travel without their dogs, so we built an experience that reflects that reality.”
Tasca says the top-20 charter and fractional operator “partnered with pet travel specialists, who charter flights through Fly Alliance and offer individual seats to their clients and their dogs with domestic and worldwide destinations.”
According to the announcement, the lounge is “a purpose-built, pet-first terminal experience—further elevating the journey from departure to arrival.”
Per the release:
‘Inside Jet Paw Lounge, the traditional pre-flight experience is reimagined as a calm, controlled, and elevated environment. A private dog lounge allows clients and their pets to relax ahead of departure, while individual, soundproofed pet suites—each approximately 100 square feet—provide quiet, low-stimulation spaces designed to reduce anxiety. Separate zones based on size and temperament ensure a safe, tailored experience for every dog.’
Fly Alliance says, “Aircraft are positioned directly outside the lounge, allowing dogs and their owners to walk straight from the space to the plane—eliminating the noise, congestion, and unpredictability of traditional terminals.”
Fly Alliance plans to expand the lounge concept to additional airports.
According to research by Private Jet Card Comparisons, 37.9% of private aviation users travel with pets.
