With 182 jets ordered from Embraer in a $7 billion deal, Flexjet has received its first Praetor 600E as its exclusive fleet launch customer.
Flexjet is the first jet operator to receive the Embraer Praetor 600E.
The operator is also the exclusive fleet launch customer for the Praetor 600E and 500E, continuing their partnership with Embraer.
The delivery is part of the $7 billion order that the operator announced in February 2025, for 182 Embraer jets.
Compared to the Praetor 600, the 600 Enhanced features a revamped cabin management system with new technology and smart systems.
“This milestone delivery continues a success story we have had with Embraer that began back in 2003,” said Michael Silvestro, Flexjet CEO, in a press release.
Silvestro continued:

The Praetor 600E’s new cabin management system was designed by the German company Lufthansa Technik, in partnership with Embraer.
On top of dynamic RGB cabin lighting, ergonomic and rotating seats, and an advanced sound system, is the patented Smart Window.
Featuring a 42″ 4K OLED touchscreen monitor, the screen can display outside vistas using exterior cameras.
The Smart Window can also show a live map with the jet’s location or serve as a monitor for business or entertainment.
Lighting, temperature, and climate can be managed with touchscreen interfaces in the cabin.
The Embraer Cabin Control app was also designed by Lufthansa Technik. Available on app stores, it can control cabin systems and save presets for various moods.
The Praetor 600E also features embedded Starlink Wi-Fi for in-flight internet.
The 182-jet order continues Flexjet and Embraer’s partnership, with most of the operator’s fleet made up of their aircraft.
Flexjet’s $7 billion order includes the Praetor 600E and 500E, alongside the Phenom 300E.
Phenom 300E light jets have already started their deliveries, per a press release.
Meanwhile, the Praetor 500E deliveries are expected to begin later this year.
In an interview with Private Jet Card Comparisons, Silvestro praised Embraer’s cabin design and dedication to customer experience.
Embraer Executive Jets CEO Michael Amalfitano also praised the partnership with Flexjet, in an interview with Private Jet Card Comparisons.
Amalfitano said that through Flexjet, Embraer got valuable customer feedback about their aircraft.
Regarding Embraer Executive’s future goals, Amalfitano said the company was scanning the market and customer demands to see what to innovate on, or design, next.
Other customers have already been ordering the new Embraer aircraft since their announcement in February, an Embraer spokesperson told Private Jet Card Comparisons.
However, those clients will not begin receiving deliveries until late 2029 or early 2030.
Overall, under its Part 135 FAA certificate, Flexjet currently has 347 jets in its fleet.
