Tradewind Aviation is expanding its Bahamas flight services with Fort Lauderdale-Nassau flights, year-round on its Pilatus jets.
Tradewind Aviation is expanding its South Florida-Bahamas service with daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Nassau, launching December 10.
Flights will depart from the Sheltair FBO at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and arrive at Lynden-Pindling International Airport on New Providence Island.
“The remarkable growth of our scheduled service to the Bahamas has exceeded expectations,” said David Zipkin, Tradewind COO, in a press release. “Demonstrating the significant appetite for a more seamless alternative to commercial air travel.”
Zipkin continued:
‘The sustained response has fueled our expansion, with the addition of Fort Lauderdale service to Nassau marking a milestone in the growth of our network. By introducing daily, year-round service we are taking a step forward in matching high demand with the comfort and convenience that set Tradewind apart.’
The Fort Lauderdale-Nassau flight service will be year-round, with fares starting at $299 one-way, plus taxes and fees.
This expands their existing service from Stuart, Florida, to Nassau.
Those flights run daily, once, from Thursday to Monday year-round. They have the same pricing as the Fort Lauderdale-Nassau service.
Tradewind Aviation uses the PC-12.
The Pilatus turboprops seat up to eight passengers.
