The Florida-based broker has expanded its AI assistant, Wilbur, which lets users view sample charter flights and quotes.
PrivateJet.com, a Miami-based charter broker, has expanded its AI jet charter assistant.
Wilbur, named after Wilbur Wright, is now accessible by sending a direct message to the broker’s Instagram account.
The broker launched it on its website in September 2025, and it’s also available there.
Users can search sample flights by selecting checkboxes or using a casual chatbot format.
Wilbur lets users compare aircraft, estimate charter costs, answer aviation questions, and provide sample quotes.
“People want to understand what aircraft is right for their trip and what it’s going to cost, without having to wait to speak with someone,” said Michael Loff, PrivateJet.com Director of Charter Sales, in a press release.
Loff continued:
‘Wilbur gives them that information immediately, so they can start making informed decisions on their own time.’
Wilbur uses PrivateJet.com’s internal data to generate estimates.
That data includes over a million quotes, a PrivateJet.com spokesperson told Private Jet Card Comparisons.
Like JetGPT and Look Book & Fly, users must have a charter broker book their desired flight once they decide what they want.
The AI assistant can’t book flights directly.
Wilbur is the first of these AIs to work through social media DMs.
Most require an online browser.
However, Jet.AI’s AI assistant can also be used through Claude or ChatGPT by connecting the chatbot to their MCP server link.
A spokesperson said the assistant is “constantly learning and getting smarter with every inquiry, and the feedback we’ve received from clients and users has been incredibly positive.”
Future capabilities and features are in development.
PrivateJet.com launched in 2025 with a dynamic pricing membership.
David Gitman, owner of Monarch Air Group, is PrivateJet.com’s principal.
Membership requires a refundable $100,000 deposit.
Members get a 2% bonus flight credit for every $100,000 they deposit.
