What is the Epic Aircraft E1000?

Epic Aircraft spent much of the 2000s producing the Epic LT, a kit-built turboprop aircraft for use by private pilots. However, after struggling to gain financing, Epic Aircraft eventually began developing an upgraded and certified aircraft in the early 2010s.

In 2013, the E1000 was officially launched. This aircraft garnered over 50 orders by late 2014. The first E1000 prototype conducted its maiden flight in December 2015. After a seven-year development process, the E1000 received its type certification from the FAA in November 2019, with the first aircraft delivered in February 2020.

Since its introduction, Epic Aircraft has delivered over 100 E1000s.
