Jet card and on-demand charter broker Magellan Jets has partnered with industry Worth Avenue Yachts and villa vacation company Homebase Abroad to offer clients “the ultimate summer jetsetter package to Italy’s most iconic summer destinations.” Last November, Air Partner announced it was joining with Camper & Nicholsons to offer air/sea private jet and superyacht packages. More recently, Northrop & Johnson said it is partnering with Nicholas Air, which like the other two sells various jet card programs.

It’s the New Year, and XOJET is apparently first out of the gate in terms of expanding its travel and lifestyle partnerships. The top league seller of jet cards and on-demand charter has inked a deal with Hertz, providing seamless air-to-ground connections for its membership base of affluent travelers and companies. The news follows XOJET’s recently announced partnership with a variety of luxury resorts and brands, including golf destination Pinehurst and Canyon Ranch.
Scottsdale is investing $27 million in upgrading facilities at Scottsdale Municipal Airport where an average of 385 private jets arrive and depart on a daily basis. In 2015 the airport generated $536 million in economic benefits for the community and the average spend of visitors is $5,255, more than 10 times higher than other visitors.
