Air Charter Service has been awarded Best Charter Broker at the annual Icons of Aviation gala awards ceremony organized by the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA). The event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hong Kong. ACS’s Director of Private Jets Asia, James Royds-Jones, collected the award on behalf of the company. He said, “Thank you to all our suppliers and industry peers for taking the time to vote for us as Asia’s best aircraft charter broker. This year we celebrate 10 years in Asia, and this award is a nice birthday present! It is a tremendous credit to our team for their hard work this year. Once again, thank you to everyone who voted for us.”

Air Charter Service has 22 worldwide offices, spanning all six continents and offer private jet, commercial airliner, and cargo aircraft charters, as well as onboard courier solutions. The company arranges almost 15,000 contracts annually with revenue of close to $700 million. It was formed in 1990 by Chairman Chris Leach and CEO Justin Bowman in the basement of a house and now employs almost 500 staff worldwide. The company recently introduced two innovative jet card programs in the U.S. and Europe. One provides a fixed hourly rate ceiling with the goal of providing guaranteed availability lower pricing, while the other offers a custom jet card. In the latter, you provide your specific desires from routes, the lead time for reservations, types of aircraft you want to fly, and ACS quotes a fixed hourly rate for you.
