VistaJet named official private jet provider of Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow

The global charter and jet card provider will get the team between races for the upcoming Formula One season

Global jet card and on-demand charter operator VistaJet said it has entereded a partnership with the hScuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow team as its official supplier of private jet travel.

According to a press release received by Private Jet Card Comparisons, “With the tight schedule of the race calendar and often only days between Grands Prix, VistaJet will support the team to optimize their travel and transfer times throughout the 2019 Formula One season. In an industry where speed and efficiency are fundamental, the Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow team will further utilize time off track to arrive in optimum condition.”

Thomas Flohr’s passion

The release noted, having raced competitively with Ferrari and as an official driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship, WEC, VistaJet’s founder and chairman Thomas Flohr is familiar with racing and the intense focus required to perform under such pressure. With his Ferrari 488 GTE, Flohr achieved second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018, alongside his fellow drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Francesco Castellacci.

Announcing the partnership, Flohr said, “I am incredibly proud to support the most iconic and successful racing team in the world. Innovation, technology and a focus on efficiency are values we both share. VistaJet will provide Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow with seamless travel, to ensure their focus is on what is important – the competition on track.” He added, “A new season is starting, a new team will be driving, and we will all be there cheering for Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc and all at Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow.”

Formula One 2019 Schedule

The first race of the Formula One 2019 season is the Australian Grand Prix March 14-17 at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit followed by Bahrain Grand Prix March 29-31, the Chinese Grand Prix April 12-14 in Shanghai then Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku City April 26-28. Formula One visits North America three times, first to Montreal June 7-9, followed by Toluca near Mexico City Oct. 25-27 and then Austin Nov. 1-3 for Circuit of the Americas.

After buying XOJET, what’s next?

The company operates an owned fleet of over 70 aircraft super midsize, large and ultra-long-range Bombardier private jets and has completed over 146,000 flights globally taking over 360,000 passengers to more than 1,900 airports worldwide. Last year it made news by forming a holding company Vista Global which was used to acquire XOJET, a U.S.-based operator of 43 super-midsize Challenger 300s and Citation Xs. More recently, a report by The New York Post speculated the company might buy jet-sharing broker JetSmarter.

VistaJet pricing

VistaJet, which positions itself at the top of the private jet food chain, last year launched special inflight experiences for kids, further elevated its fining dining and launched a curated wine program. The company’s jet card program, which it calls the Program requires a minimum of 50 hours flying per year and a three year commitment. VistaJet hourly rate ranges from $12,000 to $18,000 per hour are customized to individualized customers.
