StraightLine Private Air teams up to offer National Parks by private jet journeys

By Doug Gollan, March 24, 2019

The jet card membership program is offering customized vacation options by teaming up with Under Canvas

Under Canvas, a growing adventure-hospitality company has joined with StraightLine Private Air to offer a week-long experience exploring the iconic national parks of the West.

Leveraging the power and convenience of private aviation, guests will see seven national parks in just 7 days by traveling aboard a private aircraft. Highlights include four Under Canvas glamping resorts – Moab, Yellowstone, Glacier and Zion.

Glamping and Private Jets

The safari-inspired tents include plush king beds, wood burning stoves for warmth and en-suite bathrooms. Each morning guests wake to the sound of nature just steps away from the country’s most beautiful national parks.

During the week an experience concierge will direct guests to  both on and off-site activities including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, privately guided hikes and more.

Home Airport to Moab Canyonlands Field (CNY)

You’ll be escorted from your hotel to Denver’s airport. Arrive in Moab and it’s a day full of multipark exploration. From  the towering natural formations at the Arches to the myriad of colors defining the trenches of the Canyonlands. Under Canvas Moab will be your home for the evening. (Lunch and dinner provided)

Moab Canyonlands Field (CNY) to Yellowstone Airport (WYS)

After an activity- filled day, guests will hop in their aircraft and head from Moab up to West Yellowstone, the western gateway into Yellowstone National Park. This is our home for nights three and four. Fly fishing, paddling, and privately guided park tours will fill your days here. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided each day)

Yellowstone Airport (WYS) to Glacier Park Airport (GPI)

Departing early from Yellowstone Airport, guests will fly to Glacier Park International Airport for a full day of exploration in the nation’s most northern national park, sitting just below Canada. Cascading waterfalls will surround you. Later that day, saddle up! You will be on a late afternoon horseback ride taking you to a “cowboy cookout”. Enjoy a great steak dinner fireside before returning to camp. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided)

Glacier Park Airport (GPI) to Cedar City Airport (CDC)

After Glacier National Park, enjoy the trip South, peering down at Bryce Canyon’s remarkable “hoodoos”, before landing at Cedar City Regional Aiport, where guests will get to experience all that is Zion. To do this piece of Southern Utah justice, we’ll be spending two evenings here. From Jeep safaris, to canyoneering, to wading through “The Narrows”, your days will be filled leaving you just enough time to relax, roasting marshmallows at camp and looking up at the giant blanket of stars. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided each day)

Zion Cedar City Airport (CDC) to Home Airport

Your flight from Cedar City will depart for a low-elevation aerial tour of The Grand Canyon – the preferred vantage point from which to view this iconic natural landmark.
