Private Jet Services' 10-hour summer jet card offers the lowest light and super-midsize rates

According to Private Jet Card Comparisons’ Quick Compare Flight Pricing, the deal gives you the lowest hourly rates in light and super-midsize private jet categories of any national program

Jet card broker Private Jet Services, which made its mark with corporate shuttles, sports team, live entertainment, and political campaign charters, is offering a free hour with the purchase of a 10-hour jet card.

The offer requires purchase by July 4th and travel needs to be completed by Oct. 14, 2019, Columbus Day. The terms of the 10+1 card are the same as other PJS jet cards, according to the company.

“PJS is pleased to offer this one-of-a-kind jet card,” said CEO Greg Raiff. “This 10+1 PJS Summer Jet Card comes with all the added benefits that the PJS Jet Card Program offers and is released just in time for the summer months.”

He added, “During these months, we typically see high-demand for last minute, short trips, and this card is the perfect solution to that scenario. Both new and existing clients can take advantage of these savings. It is a win-win for all private aviation flyers.

Jet card pricing

PJS offers two types of jet cards – Elite and Priority – with Elite offering aircraft year 2000 or newer whereas Priority provides private jets manufactured in 1999 or earlier. Both Elite and Priority are offered across light, midsize, super midsize and large cabin categories.

PJS Group
Elite Jet Cards guarantee aircraft year 2000 or newer, while Priority Jet Cards offer a lower rate for pre-2000 private jets.

Priority Jet Card FET-inclusive hourly rates are $4,890 for light jets, $6,650 for midsize, $8,995 for super-midsize, and $11,050 for heavy jets.  With the free hour, hourly rates are reduced to $4,445, $6,045, $8,177, and $10,045, by cabin category, respectively.

Best-in-Class pricing

According to Private Jet Card Comparisons’ exclusive Quick Compare Flight Pricing, the special offers give PJS the lowest hourly rate among over 200 national fixed-rate programs in the light and super-midsize jet category, second lowest in midsize, and third in the large cabin category.

PJS has a best in class 10 hour lead time for reservations on non-peak days and none of its 20 peak days fall during the validity of the card. There is a 5% discount for qualifying roundtrips and a 10% surcharge for travel to Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

PJS does not have any membership fees or fuel surcharges, and each trip is priced on estimated flight time, something we like, as in comparing Uber to a taxi, you don’t have to worry the meter is running. In other words, you know what you will pay before you step on the plane.

A good offer to give PJS a try

Daily minimums for its light and midsize cards are 90 minutes, including taxi time, so PJS is not ideal if you are buying a jet card and flying one sub-78-minute segment in a day. Also, deicing is extra, although that will unlikely factor into summer flying.

Like many card programs, there are 12 minutes of taxi time charged per segment. Still, if you were considering PJS, or in the market for a jet card, and PJS fit your overall needs, a 10% discount is considerably more generous than many of the offers we see.
