Wheels Up is the top prize at Buffalo Wild Wings

By Doug Gollan, January 8, 2020

Private jet flights to four top sporting events on Wheels Up for one lucky winner is the big prize in sweepstakes running through February

While private jet companies have generally low brand awareness outside of the industry, Wheels Up will be spreading its name to the masses for the next month.

Through February 2, 2020, Buffalo Wild Wings is raising the stakes by partnering with Wheels Up. One “Picks and Props champion” will embark on an exclusive private jet experience to four major sporting events.

Guests who compete in Picks and Props through the sports bar’s mobile app must check in at least once during the corresponding week to be eligible for prizes.

Other prizes include a trip to Vegas, free wings for a year and Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards.

The odds-based daily game is playable through the Buffalo Wild Wings app and powered by BetMGM.

The more correct picks you make, the more points you earn each week.

The Picks and Props champion with the best overall week from January 1-February 2, 2020, will win the Wheels Up experience.

Whether you start in Week 1 or Week 5, guests have an equal opportunity to win, according to a press release

“The game is free to play, the prizes are epic and watching games at Buffalo Wild Wings just got even more exciting,” the restaurant chain says.

So which sporting events?

A PR rep says Buffalo Wild Wings will work with the winner to select the four events. Trips will be limited to the U.S., and you can bring one guest.

Since its inception, Wheels Up has had focused on strong ties to popular sports like football. Ambassadors include Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. It also sponsors ESPN GameDay, its pregame college football show on Saturdays during the fall.

Buffalo Wild Wings markets itself as a venue to watch live sporting events, particularly football.

Of course, the big news for Wheels Up remains its deal to merge with Delta Private Jets. The deal is pegged to close early this year.
