Vista Global Holdings (VGH) has posted COVID-19 Coronavirus protocols for both XO and XOJET Aviation, the two halves of the former XOJET.
XO is a fully owned subsidiary of Dubai-based Vista Global Holdings, which also owns VistaJet. XO is a private jet broker selling on-demand charter and jet cards. Last year it was merged with JetSmarter to form the new company which trades at flyxo.com.
The separate structure was created when Vista Global Holdings acquired XOJET in 2018 to comply with government restrictions on foreign ownership.
Standard cleaning procedures have been amplified with all XOJET (like VistaJet) aircraft getting enhanced cleaning after every flight using a high-grade disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner.
If a passenger potentially carrying COVID-19 has traveled on board an aircraft, that jet will be taken out of service temporarily, cleaned, and evaluated.
Additionally, all aircraft operated and maintained by XOJET Aviation are treated with ClearCabin Disinfectant and Antimicrobial Barrier.
When applied to surfaces, this antimicrobial treatment forms an invisible bio-barrier coating that protects against microbes and will prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and fungi.
ClearCabin is used by hospitals, cancer and bone marrow and transplant wings, and training facilities of the Miami Heat, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, Minnesota Vikings, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, and others.
What’s more, aircraft are cleaned with the long-term surface disinfectant Bacoban. This product is used after each flight and remains active and effective for up to 10 days.
Bacoban uses a semi-permanent nanolayer of silica within which are anti-pathogen agents that are slowly released to allow for active infection and bacteria control over an extended period.
XOJET Aviation has also provided A Health Guideline for Crews from MedAire to all crew members.
Both VistaJet and XOJET Aviation have an ERP (Emergency Response Plan) with an active checklist maintained by the applicable Safety Department in the event a passenger takes ill onboard a flight. Crews are doing multiple daily temperate checks and welcome handshakes are now on hold.
All flights performed by XOJET Aviation as well as shared flights arranged by XO now require a health questionnaire to be submitted by every passenger at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. In certain cases, the operators of the flights may also take passenger temperatures, according to the information posted on the XO website.
According to its website, there are still a number of shared flights for sale. For example, for flights from New York to South Florida, six seats are available on Thursday, April 2nd, with another nine seats on Friday. Non-member price for seats is $1,390. On Saturday, there are options to initiate shared flights starting at $2,790 per seat.
XO is also offering instant booking full aircraft charters from Teterboro to Ft. Lauderdale starting at $10,727 for a seven-seat Hawker 400XP/
