Tradewind Aviation is following up on last year’s launch of its Goodspeed Jet Card program by restructuring its on-demand charter pricing within its fixed-rate service area.
Effectively immediately, on-demand quotes for its Pilatus PC-12 fleet will be based only on occupied flight hours.
Previously, they also included repositioning fees from its Westchester County Airport (HPN) base.
In conjunction with the move, Tradewind is also reducing minimum charges from one-hour to eight-tenths of an hour for both pay-as-you-go and Goodspeed fliers. This policy will be in place through the end of October.
David Zipkin, vice president of Tradewind, tells Private Jet Card Comparisons, said in terms of quotes, customers are saving up to 30% off the pay-as-you-go hourly rate of $4,295.
Members of Goodspeed still get lower rates on the PC-12:
On-demand: $4,295 per hour
10 hours: $4,100 per hour
25 hours: $3,900 per hour
40 hours: $3,800 per hour
Both Goodspeed and on-demand pricing are on an as-available basis. Goodspeed customers get discounts for on-demand quotes on Tradewind’s Citation CJ3 fleet. They also get lower prices in its Caribbean service area, which includes Puerto Rico and St. Barths.
